We love the kitchen...food and sun! And, now Emma loves to climb into the chairs to get to the table herself. We have to keep up with her every waking moment! Ben and I were in separate vehicles one day, and he brought Emma home. He put her down and walked into the bedroom. In walked Momma just in time to run to the table and grab Emma...one foot on a chair, the other in mid-air trying hard to get to another chair. The chair climbing hasn't ceased since. She now goes to a chair other than hers every time we tell her to go to her chair to eat. Guess she's too big for hers now! : ) These pictures are just some I loved from an afternoon we spent playing in the sun...shadows and bubbles are so much fun!

Purses, Pedicures, Pigtails and Planes

Still loving the outdoors, which is why so many of the pictures are outside. Emma loves to look for airplanes when she hears them, and we hear them quite often as we are just one road over from the airport. She immediately points to the sky and starts looking everywhere to find the plane. I went to the spa one afternoon to redeem my certificate Ben gave me for Valentine's Day and came home with painted toenails. They are always painted (not so pretty of course), but for some reason she noticed them that day and became obesessed with my painted toenails. So, my mom was over one day and helped me give Emma's nails some color. She was so enthralled and enjoyed pointing at our toes for weeks! Emma is also getting into carrying a purse with a few treasures; it is so sweet to see her walking down the hall or to the car with a purse on her arm. I still love the pigtails, she still pulls them out...one day!
